Visit of MP Weronika Smarduch in Zakopane

During today's City Council meeting, councilors had the opportunity to ask MP Weronika Smarduch a few questions. She came to Zakopane at the invitation of City Council Chairman Grzegorz Jóźkiewicz. The MP is known for her support of our city and region and her keen interest in Zakopane's problems, for which Mayor Łukasz Filipowicz expressed his gratitude.

Among the topics discussed were the need to undertake legislative work regarding the conduct of business activities involving off-road excursions in valuable natural areas, the expansion of the paid parking zone to include weekends and holidays, the appointment of a new director of the Zakopane Sports and Recreation Center, and the local tax and air quality issues.

MP Weronika Smarduch pledged broad support for Zakopane residents and authorities and emphasized her willingness to work together to support local governments.
